Our Approach In The Early Years
At Saint Esteban School, elementary school is a stage in which we consolidate strong academic foundations while continuing to form students who are confident, curious, responsible, and able to function successfully in different contexts. Our approach combines bilingual education, holistic formation, personalized attention, and experiences that enrich learning inside and outside the classroom.

I Cycle
1st, 2nd, and 3rd Grade
I Cycle is a fundamental stage for strengthening study habits, consolidating reading and writing, developing logical-mathematical thinking, and expanding communication skills in Spanish and English. During these years, students build essential foundations for their school journey while developing greater autonomy, responsibility, and self-confidence.
Working Method
In I Cycle, we work with an active and interactive approach, where learning is built through dynamic classes, group activities, the use of books, and technological resources as instructional support. Our students receive daily English lessons and progress in different academic areas within a bilingual and holistic proposal.
Subject-based organization favors a more structured and enriching experience. In Elementary School, 1st grade is divided between English and subjects in Spanish, while from 2nd to 6th grade the areas are organized into Math, English, Social Studies-Science, and Spanish.

II Cycle
4th, 5th, and 6th Grade
II Cycle represents a stage of greater academic and personal maturity. It is a cycle that prepares them in a solid way for new academic and personal challenges

In II Cycle, we maintain a bilingual, dynamic, and holistic proposal with interactive classes, technological resources, group activities, and subject-based organization. We want each student not only to acquire knowledge, but also to learn how to analyze it, relate it, express it, and apply it meaningfully.
As they move through these grade levels, our students find greater opportunities to develop independence, critical thinking, and communication skills in different contexts. The academic structure is also enriched with subjects that broaden their education, such as Portuguese from 4th grade and Programming from 5th grade.
